A lot of reps stop by our agency to show us their music. They bring food, key chains, zip drives, all kinds of things to get us to show up. Today, there was a different sort of offering.

Little Steven of the Sopranos, of the E Street Band wanted us to meet him so he could sell us some music. Yeah, you heard that right. He has a lot of bands he represents.

His point was interesting. MTV isn’t happening. Radio isn’t happening. For new bands, commercials are happening. If we send him boards, he can send us band within three days.

And yeah, if the lyric talks about death and dying, but we love the music, the band will tweak it. Pretty amazing.

He’s basically the same guy you see on TV. Pretty funny.
