A swim in December

For fun on Sunday, I went for a swim in Newport harbor. Of course, that was not my intent. I had planned on going sailing, and found the swim to be an unexpected bonus.

The water temperature was still relatively mild, at 47 degrees. While I swam, I did not swim alone. Many other sailors found themselves upside down as well. Once the wetsuit was totally soaked it made for restricted movement, as it was quite heavy.
