Mrs. Berkeley, an accessory to murder

This afternoon on West 25th Street in Manhattan a lynch mob formed to seek vengeance on handler/owner, Linda Berkeley, for allowing black Labrador Retriever puppy, Cedarwood’s Wuthering Heights WC, also known as Isabella Linton, to murder one of New York City’s finest pigeons residing in the area.

Local gallery goers looked on in horror as the birdy puppy caught and retrieved a local pigeon. Screams of anquish were heard up and down 25th Street from onlookers as one exclaimed, “Why did you let your dog do that?” No answer was forthcoming from Mrs. Berkeley. Meanwhile, other passers-by hailed the puppy as “a brilliant bird dog”.

Isabella, now seven months old, had been known to chase pigeons on 25th Street before, but she had never been quick enough to actually catch and retrieve one. Today, she finally got the retrieve she had always strived for but never gotten.

After the pigeon’s quick burial in a handy poop bag, Mrs. Berkeley and the fine retriever were seen running for cover at a local construction site.
