New England Council Man of the Year Jack Connors

Jack received the Man of the Year award last night from The New England Council. Other recipients included Senator Kerry, John Fish of Suffolk Construction, and the UConn Women's Basketball Team.

Jack is busier in retirement than most people are when employed full time. He's rebuilding the Catholic Schools in the inner cities of Brockton and Boston, and raising $100 million for an institute for the U.S. Senate at the University of Massachusetts to honor Senator Ted Kennedy.

He continues to serve as the Chairman of Partners Healthcare, which serves 11,000 patients every day.

Not bad for a former taxi cab driver who started his agency with $1500, $1000 of which he borrowed from family members.
