Pete blew a transmission

Pete was out driving in Los Angeles when his transmission expired. He ordered a newly-rebuilt tranny from Seattle, and ordered up a new head job while the car was in the shop. He's keeping his 21-year-old Saab going. Someday, he's going to keep an eye out for a Volvo v50. Until then, the Saab presses on like a boat against the tide.
