beautiful cars, ugly people

Been watching my share of car auctions on the telly. You see all these beautiful old cars, perfectly restored. Stripped down to the frame, every nut and bolt restored, motors shined up, interiors smoothed. Unbelievable.

Then the camera pans the crowd. Oh my. Old, fat, bald guys stand there driving up the bidding. They're drunk on beer and the power of their money, nostalgic for the old days when they had lots of personal horse power and no damaged body panels.
