bulkhead trimmed out, wall patched

The bulkhead is re-shingled and trimmed out. During the reshingling, I thought of the words of co-worker Will Keyser, the former triathlete and weekend athlete who has a great many outdoor pursuits. He's a vinyl siding man as it's energy efficient and requries a hosing off once a decade or so. As I fit shingles to odd angles, one at a time in the blazing sun, I was ready to get vinyl siding, and perhaps even a house with linoleum walls, cement floors, and a drain in the center of each room such that to clean the house, you just hose everything off and it goes down the drain. When my work was complete, my faith in shingles was re-affirmed.
