Celebrating July 4th

Started the day working on the deck. Prepped, cut, and fit a 4x4 to support the joists. Realized I made an error, so I got to do it again. At this point, the sun was beating down so I declared my independence from home improvement and went sailing. The South Westerly piped up, and with Perry and Bill, I enjoyed a spirited practice session.

After the sixth time I capsized, I realized I was getting tired, so I pointed the bow back at the Hull Yacht Club and flew downwind with spray everywhere.

Tulip was receiving guests, so Lance and Sugar went over for a romp. The Ryan kids have amazing lives. They're either surfing, boogey boarding, or hanging out with Tulip.
