All My Stuff is Broken

Every now and again you are just moving along in life and then something hits you, like the top section of your Laser mast when it breaks in half for no particular reason. This is a moment for reflection, and you realize that all of your stuff is junk. The hiking boots have holes in them and smell like the backside of a hyena. The gloves are falling apart. And the Seitech wheels that have already been rebuilt once with new races and bearings are all worn out again.
You ask yourself, is it worth spending money on new parts for the Seitech wheels when the sidewalls of the tire are cracked, the races are shot, the bearings are no good, and the wheels are a dozen years old? The wife said no. So I treated myself to a new set of Dynamic Dolly wheels from Sturgis Boatworks.

When a wheel goes bad a little bit at a time, it's hard to tell exactly which day you arrived in Hell. But when you replace the faulty wheel with the new Dynamic Dolly wheel, well, you know the first time you use it that you have arrived in Heaven.
The difference in rolling resistance is dramatic, it's much easier to pull my boat up the local beach, and the new wheel is constructed such that the ball bearings do not touch the axle. The new wheel is a bit bigger in diameter than the Seitech, so my homemade roll-aboard trailer needed to be modified to create some space between the new wheel and the fender.
Overall, the new wheels are super sweet and I am happy to see my dolly again. This is an upgrade that is worthy of consideration if the frame of your Seitech dolly is in good shape and the wheels are going bad.
