The old deck

On My Second Day of Summer Vacation...

I stripped the deck. Dave had a dumpster in the driveway and he said I could put some stuff in it. To quote George Goetz, who now lives on Marblehead neck, Hoo Boy!

With framing hammer and pry bar and tool belt from a yard sale, I applied myself. By lunch, it was stripped. By dinner, it was prepped for three new footings, which I shall pour tomorrow. Most of the muscles in my back have a keener appreciation for office work than they did last week.
